>>INTERVIEWER: Okay, hi, can you tell us your name? >>CHRIS WARE: My name Chris Ware. >>INTERVIEWER: Alright Chris. What are you going to tell us about today? >>CHRIS: I guess I'm gonna talk about my love for scary books, horror books, stuff like that. >>INTERVIEWER: What is it you like about them? >>CHRIS: Basically, I don't know. I kind of think it goes back to when I was young. I just always seemed to be into scary stuff. Scary books. Scary movies. I don't know. Some people say I might be a little twisted. I don't know. [Laughs] You know, I just like scary movies. Scary books. Particularly I really like Stephen King a lot. Brian King. Dean Koontz. You know. I usually go to the library, check out my books. Sometimes I have friends that like to read a lot of those books too. Swap books or whatever. You know. Just go from there. >>INTERVIEWER: Good. Do you remember anybody who first introduced these books to you, or did you just pick one up one day and was interested in it? >>CHRIS: I think it actually was from friends, I had older friends in the neighborhood I grew up in. They were already into those books and stuff. They kind of turned me to them. Years later I'm still reading. [Laughs] >>INTERVIEWER: That's great. Is there anything else or do you just like to stick to scary books or is there any other type of genre you like to read, like mystery or anything like that? >>CHRIS: Yeah, I like mystery and I like a little bit of everything, really. History, you know. I really like to gain knowledge of things. So I like to read a lot of knowledge book stuff too. >>INTERVIEWER: Anything in particular? Are you interested in any particular subjects that you like to read about? >>CHRIS: Yeah, I like to read a lot about animals. I like animals a lot. I like to read about their behaviors and stuff like that. >>INTERVIEWER: Alright.
