Support System Anonymous, Anonymous SPEAKER: So could you guys kind of tell us your first recollection of learning and I guess what the importance of learning is to you? ANONYMOUS: Well I remember writing my first sentence [laughing] it was "God is good." I know it's something simple but I just remember the pride that I felt after learning how to write, let alone read. So for me to complete my first sentence it was a great achievement for me. [laughing] [laughing] SPEAKER: Shut up. [laughing] [laughing] SPEAKER: So this is clearly going to be the interview. So how important is learning to you today? ANONYMOUS: Learning is very, highly important, it's very essential because without learning about education I don't think there are many places that you can go. There are so many doors that are going to be closed because people may not have the adequate education. So I think learning is essential to life. SPEAKER: And how much of - when you think of learning now - was shaped by either your family or people close to you? ANONYMOUS: All my learning was shaped by the people close to me. My mom taught me how to read. My grandmother, you know, would help me with my homework and I think that it's very important to have a great support system and a great family system to support you with your education. SPEAKER: Ok, any last thoughts on learning or education before we go? [laughing] ANONYMOUS: Education is great. Education is... [laughing] [laughing]
