[00:00:00:00]	Ok. I've been on Facebook for about 5 years  since about 8th grade, probably, 

[00:00:06:23]	and I use it alot to communicate it with people.

[00:00:09:22]	and Deshaun Thomas, one of the basketball players, is from my home town.

[00:00:14:13]	So I thought oh, I'll add him as a friend  and we ended up talking and exchanging numbers

[00:00:20:02]	and we talked for a long time  throughout the basketball season.

[00:00:22:28]	I would just wish him luck before every game

[00:00:24:20]	and then about six months later I find out that this was an imposter

[00:00:27:26]	and it wasn't actually Deshaun Thomas  and so I don't even know who the real Deshaun is. [ Laughing ]

[00:00:33:28]	[ Interviewer: You don't know who that person was? ]

[00:00:35:24]	No. I still haven't found out who it was.  [ Interviewer: It was all season? ]

[00:00:38:17]	Umm humm. So it's the big joke  of [ claps ] me and all my friends now.

[00:00:43:09]	[ Interviewer: How did you find out that it was an imposter? ] 

[00:00:45:22]	Some of the stuff he was saying wasn't really like adding together, 

[00:00:48:05]	so I was like hmmm and then one time  he told me that he lived in Lincoln Tower, 

[00:00:53:10]	which I was like, no that's not true at all. 

[00:00:56:10]	And, just some of the, I don't know,  we started putting two and two together.

[00:01:01:06]	[ Interviewer: That is sketchy ]  [Laughing]

[00:01:04:08]	I didn't tell anything personal  so I mean, it wasn't a big deal, 

[00:01:07:02]	but like somebody wasted that much time of their life

[00:01:10:12]	like they would text me first every time  like, I wasn't, like, trying that hard

[00:01:15:13]	[ Interviewer says So you're communication was on the phone, mostly texting? ]

[00:01:18:15]	Yeah, yeah but like we exchanged numbers through Facebook  and that's how we originally starting talking 

[00:01:22:18]	[ Interviewer says Fascinating ] 

[00:01:25:01]	[ Laughing throughout ] It's interesting.

[00:01:29:01]	[ Interviewer says Have you had anything like that since? ]

[00:01:30:23]	No, I just like completely deleted the number. 

[00:01:32:28]	I was like, this is pointless, but one of my friends, I found out,  is friends with the read Deshaun Thomas

[00:01:38:23]	and so we're like Oh my Gosh, we're like, so she's about to like compare their numbers and stuff [ Laughing ]

[00:01:44:14]	[ Interviewer says Oh perfect ]

[00:01:45:16]	So yeah, we've turned this into an investigation, but yeah

[00:01:48:25]	[ Interviewer says Wow. Ok. Perfect. Thank you ]
