JOSEPH: Sometime in the year 1999 I was placed on house arrest and because house arrest was so boring and you couldn't do anything I decided to write a movie. I wrote part of the movie, the actors, which were all my friends, and the plot, the name of my movie was "Black and White". Eventually I got off of house arrest, didn't finish my movie, but I was at my friend's house one night and we were all sitting around, partying, having a good time and out of nowhere this movie comes on with the same title, the same plot, it was totally ironic. From that day on I've had aspirations to complete a movie, learn the process, how to write a movie or book or narrative, whatever I could do to express myself. That's my story.
