Power of Writing

STEVEN: The best part about writing to me is having power. There are two types of power I get out of writing. The first power, that I like, is the ability to create a world in which I can play God. I can craft people and places and things into the way I want it. I am in control. The second power that I like about writing is the ability to influence people. I can persuade them to change their way of thinking. Being a writer requires a special gift; you either have it or you don't. If you do have a gift for writing you can consider yourself as someone of magical powers.
