[00:00:02.07] Um, so I decided for my literacy project [00:00:05.12] that I was going to talk a little bit about the way [00:00:10.21] that I used to view writing compared to the way I view it now, [00:00:12.24] because I see a HUGE difference. [00:00:16.40] So I brought a couple of good books that I wrote when I was in first grade. [00:00:20.47] And, um, I was looking through these, [00:00:22.50] and it recalled so many memories of just loving writing. [00:00:28.60] And I mean, it obviously makes a difference [00:00:30.64] when you draw your own awesome illustrations in the book [00:00:33.70] because those probably took me a lot longer than actually writing the story. [00:00:40.84] But, I remember the day when my teacher first told us that we were going to write books [00:00:46.98] and she was going to laminate them and bound them [00:00:49.02] like real books that you get in the library. [00:00:51.06] And I was so excited because writers were my heroes. [00:00:54.17] They got to use their imagination every single day of the year. [00:00:59.32] And it's like, what six-year old doesn't think that's cool. [00:01:03.38] So I'm thinking about how much I used to love reading and writing. [00:01:07.39] And then I thought about what I think about it now. [00:01:11.43] Now I think about writing a paper or having to read a book for school, [00:01:15.49] and I just want to die. [00:01:17.52] I mean, I don't get to choose what I write and read about anymore. [00:01:23.64] So I really feel like I need to get more into..more into reading aand writing again [00:01:29.73] because I used to love it so much; it's got to be in there somewhere, right?
